Photograph of the Month: February 2011

February was a grey and wet month in the North of Scotland.  Not immediately conducive to good photographs.  The weather picked up right at the end of the month.  A pleasant afternoon walking on Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh lead to some quite nice views of the city.

My photograph of the month is a view over Edinburgh towards the Firth of Forth.  The original photograph has been mauled in Photoshop to produce a fake tilt-shift model look.  I'm not convinced it's a very good result, but it's quite cool:
